CM Unveils Official Jersey for Dharamshala Marathon 2025
Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu today unveiled the official jersey for the Dharamshala Marathon 2025. The event, scheduled for 25 December, aims to promote fitness, boost sports tourism, and showcase the natural beauty of the Dhauladhar foothills.
Dharamshala, December 2, 2025: Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu today unveiled the official jersey for the Dharamshala Marathon 2025. The event, scheduled for 25 December, aims to promote fitness, boost sports tourism, and showcase the natural beauty of the Dhauladhar foothills.
The jersey, inspired by the Dhauladhar ranges and elements of local culture, received widespread appreciation at the launch.
Organized by the Dharamshala Municipal Corporation in collaboration with the District Administration, Kangra, the marathon seeks to encourage a healthier lifestyle while drawing both national and international athletes.
Commending the initiative, the Chief Minister said the jersey symbolizes more than athletic gear—“it is a badge of honour for all participants who will take on this challenge.”
Registrations are now open for the Full Marathon (42.195 km), Half Marathon (21.0975 km), and other shorter categories on the official marathon website.
Former MP Viplove Thakur, Mayor Neenu Sharma, former Mayor Devender Jaggi, Deputy Commissioner Hemraj Berwa, Municipal Commissioner Zaffar Iqbal, SP Ashok Ratan, and several councillors were present on the occasion.
