CM Punjab performed Pooja at Bagula Mukhi and Jawala Mukhi temples ahead of Punjab elections

Dharamsala, December 5, 2021: Chief Minister of Punjab Charanjit Singh Channi reached Mata Bagulamukhi temple (40 kms from Dharamsala), yesterday and performed special Huvan Pooja till mid night last night to have the blessings of Mata Baglamukhi to form the Congress government again in the state after the coming state assembly elections slated for next year. He was received by Congress district president Ajay Mahajan, HPCC general secretary Kewal Singh Pathania at the Gaggal airport on Saturday.
Channi is a regular visitor to Mata Bagula Mukhi temple, but this is his first visit as CM Punjab. CM Channi has deep faith in Baglamukhi Mata. He was accompanied by his wife, son and daughter-in-law.
It is said that Pandavas performed devotion here during their exile period and the Mata Bagulamukhi temple was built in Dawapar time by PANDVA’s in only one night. Goddess is also known by the name of Shtrunashini Bagula Mukhi.
Former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi visited Bagula Mukhi Temple in 1977 after she lost elections. Many biggest Politicians come here to take the blessing of Mata Bagulamukhi. Bollywood actor Govinda also visited this sharine and actress Shilpa Shetty had recently visited here after the Bail of her husband Raj Kundra.
The Chief Minister Punjab also visited Jawal Mukhi Temple on Sunday along with his family.
