CM Nayab Singh Saini Inaugurates and Lays Foundation Stones for Development Projects Worth ₹202.77 Crore in Meham

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, today, inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for development projects worth ₹202.77 crore at a 'Thanksgiving and Development Rally' held in Meham, Rohtak.

Meham, April 5, 2026: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, today, inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for development projects worth ₹202.77 crore at a 'Thanksgiving and Development Rally' held in Meham, Rohtak.

The Chief Minister inaugurated two projects valued at ₹231.25 lakh. Additionally, he laid the foundation stones for projects belonging to the Irrigation Department worth ₹118.84 crore, and projects of the Public Health Department worth ₹80.88 crore. Furthermore, the Chief Minister also laid the foundation stone for a new school building to be constructed in Sundarpur village at a cost of ₹74.04 lakh.

Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said that the state government is committed to the welfare of every section of society, and through these projects in Meham, local residents will gain access to a better standard of living and improved basic amenities. The projects inaugurated by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini include the renovation of the Town Park at a cost of ₹155.14 lakh, and the construction of the Saini Community Center in Ward-2 of Meham at a cost of ₹76.11 lakh.

Meanwhile, the Chief Minister also laid the foundation stones for several projects undertaken by the Irrigation and Water Resources Department—including the remodeling of the Bhiwani Sub-Branch at a cost of ₹89.47 crore—aimed at flood control and safety measures in Meham. These projects include the construction of a retaining wall on the Meham Drain at a cost of ₹496 lakh; underground pipelines (in Bhaini Surjan, Bhaini Chandrapal, and Samain) at a cost of ₹1,238 lakh; the Bhaini Mato-Jui Feeder Pipeline at a cost of ₹267 lakh; the Bahalba Link Drain Pipeline at a cost of ₹106 lakh; the Samain-Jui Feeder Pipeline at a cost of ₹237 lakh; an RCC protection wall in Mokhra Kheri at a cost of ₹319 lakh; a solar submersible pump in Samain at a cost of ₹139 lakh; and the Farmana Khas-Karsol Minor Pipeline at a cost of ₹135 lakh.

The Chief Minister also laid the foundation stone for the strengthening of the pumping station in Meham city. This project is estimated to cost ₹8,088.14 lakh. Furthermore, with a view to improving the education sector, the Chief Minister laid the foundation stone for the construction of the GPS Sundarpur school building. This school building project is estimated to cost ₹74.04 lakh. The Chief Minister also inaugurated a Dental and ENT Clinic Van.

Present on this occasion were Cooperation Minister Dr. Arvind Sharma and Rajya Sabha MP Ramchandra Jangra, along with party office-bearers, workers, senior officials of the district administration, and prominent citizens of the region.
