Rohtak, April 4, 2026: Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta, along with senior officials of the district administration, reviewed the arrangements for the 'Meham Vikas Rally' scheduled to be held in Meham on April 5, and issued necessary directives to the concerned officials. He also inspected the route designated for the development rally.

Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta conducted an on-the-spot inspection of the arrangements being made for the ‘Meham Vikas Rally’, which is set to take place within the premises of the Government College in Meham. Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini will attend this rally as the Chief Guest, while Rajya Sabha MP Ramchander Jangra will preside over the event. Present during this inspection were Municipal Commissioner Dr. Anand Kumar Sharma, Superintendent of Police Gaurav Rajpurohit, Additional Deputy Commissioner Narendra Kumar, Sampla SDM Ankita Panwar, RTA Secretary Virender Singh Dhull, Meham SDM Vipin Kumar, and other senior officials.

Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta took stock of the arrangements within the rally's marquee (pandal). In addition to the main stage, a cultural stage has also been set up within the Government College premises. Seating arrangements for the general public have been made at the rally venue, and the marquee has been divided into four sectors. An in-charge has been appointed for each sector. The district administration has also appointed Duty Magistrates to ensure the successful organization of the rally. A press gallery for media personnel and a special platform for electronic media have been prepared at the venue.

In addition to the seating arrangements for the public, the Deputy Commissioner also reviewed the provisions for drinking water, temporary toilets, and other facilities at the rally site. An ambulance will also be stationed at the venue. The Deputy Commissioner reviewed the parking arrangements for VVIP vehicles, as well as the provisions made for the parking of vehicles belonging to media personnel and the general public, and issued necessary instructions to the concerned officials.

The district administration has also made necessary arrangements to ensure smooth traffic flow during the rally. The administration has made robust security arrangements at the rally venue, and an adequate number of police personnel have been deployed.

Dr. Anand Kumar Sharma, Commissioner of the Municipal Corporation and Nodal Officer for the ‘Meham Vikas Rally’, held a meeting with officials at the Rest House in Meham and issued necessary directives. He instructed the officials to fulfill every responsibility assigned to them. He further directed that officials deployed at the venue during the rally must remain vigilant and ensure the availability of drinking water for the general public. He added that comprehensive arrangements have also been made for the entry of the general public into the rally marquee, and admission will be granted only after a security check.
