Clover Infotech to train over 250 graduates from Tier 2 and 3 cities

Mumbai: Clover Infotech, one of the leading IT service providers in India, has hired 250 freshers in the first round of the company’s recruitment drive in tier 2 and 3 cities of Maharashtra. Clover Infotech has recruited from institutes such as Finolex Academy (FAMT), which is based out of Ratnagiri and will train these graduates on new-age technologies to make them industry ready. With this initiative, Clover Infotech is enabling students in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities of the country with access to state-of-the-art training facilities, experienced faculty, hands-on training on technology skills and mentoring from technology experts within the company and outside. This well-rounded training program that also involves personality development and communication skills is conducted at Clover Infotech’s new, fully-equipped training center in Mumbai which hosts its knowledge and training arm – the Clover Academy.

Through this initiative, students from the Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities get the opportunity to eventually work with Clover Infotech’s clientele which includes the most reputed banks, financial services companies and insurance firms in India. The company has been successfully creating such professionals over the past few years. Clover Infotech ensures that eminent guest lecturers from the industry and its Alumni interact with the students regularly to enhance their knowledge and skills on the latest in technology.

Commenting on the initiative, Dr. Kaushal Prasad, Principal - Finolex Academy of Management and Technology (FAMT) Ratnagiri, said, “It gives us immense pleasure to see our students getting recruited into esteemed IT firms such as Clover Infotech. The hard work and dedication that our valued students put in each year is admirable and their success gives us a tremendous sense of satisfaction and pride. Clover Infotech is one of the leading names in the IT Industry and we have already witnessed a significant transformation in some of our Alumni that were selected by Clover Infotech earlier. I am sure that Clover Infotech is enabling them to realize their true potential through its dedicated and focused training and development programs.” On behalf of FAMT, I would like to thank entire Clover Infotech Team for conducting such drives at our campuses.

Lakshmi Mittra, VP – Center of Excellence (CoE) and Clover Academy, Clover Infotech, said, “While there has been a lot of talk in the IT industry on skill gap and freshers not being industry ready, there is little focus on building an ecosystem for fresh talent to thrive and transform into professionals with deep knowledge of technology and project management. At Clover Infotech, we aim to take this responsibility and not only create expert IT professionals but also bolster the entire talent pool. Most importantly, we are recruiting students from Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities and empowering them with access to significant opportunities for growth and progress. Clover Academy was established in 2005 to leverage our inherent technology expertise to transform such young talent into knowledgeable and skilled IT professionals.”
