Girls Hostel No. 1, Mata Gujri Hall & Girls Hostel No. 6, Mother Teresa Hall in collaboration with NSS, Panjab University, Chandigarh organized a Cleanliness Drive in the premises of GH-6 today.

Cleanliness Drive at Girls Hostel-6

Chandigarh, June 30, 2022: Girls Hostel No. 1, Mata Gujri Hall & Girls Hostel No. 6, Mother Teresa Hall in collaboration with NSS, Panjab University, Chandigarh organized a Cleanliness Drive in the premises of GH-6 today under the guidance of Prof. Raj Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, P.U., Chd. and supervision of Prof. Ashwani Kaul, NSS Co-ordinator, Prof. Jagtar Singh, DSW, Prof. Roopali Garg, DSW(W) and Prof. Ashok Kumar, Associate DSW, P.U., Chd. 
 
Dr. Anuj (NSS PO), Dr. Shankar Sehgal (NSS PO), Dr. Manisha Sharma (Warden-GH-6), Dr. Naveen Kumar (NSS PO) and Dr. Vivek (NSS PO) were the teacher co-ordinators in this drive. The student co-ordinators were Abha, Hitesh, Dhruv, Muskan, Indu and Harsimran.
 
The NSS volunteers and the janitorial staff & residents of GH 1 & GH 6 participated enthusiastically in the cleanliness drive. The areas of the hostel, inside and outside of the temple in hostel premises are cleaned by them. The drive is organized under the Swachchh Bharat Abhiyaan.
 
NSS Co-ordinators apprised the residents and staff about the importance of cleanliness and personal hygiene in their life. Dr. Manisha, Warden of GH-6 encouraged the residents to make these events a regular feature.
