Cleanliness drive around ancestral house of Shaheed Sukhdev organised 

Ludhiana, October 21, 2021: Under the "Clean India Campaign", the officials, youth club members, and volunteers of Nehru Yuva Kendra Ludhiana carried out a cleanliness drive around the Ancestral house of Shaheed Sukhdev in Ludhiana. 
Celebration of 75 years of Independence, Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav, the youth started with the cleanliness pledge and promised to keep the iconic places and their surroundings clean. They also sung the National anthem. All the youth made a tribute to the Shaheed Sukhdev and remembered his sacrifices for the nation at the time of Independence. A cleanliness drive was carried out at the ancestral house of Shaheed Sukhdev and the market area nearby where the focus was the collection and disposal of single use plastic. Also the shopkeepers and public was made aware about the use of single use plastic. The District Youth Officer Rashmeet Kaur informed that more cleanliness drives will be carried out at iconic places in Ludhiana to make people aware about the importance of such places and their cleanliness.
