'Clean Ludhiana, Green Ludhiana': Cabinet Minister Mundian leads special cleanliness drive in Dhandari Khurd

Ludhiana, May 19,2025: Moving forward with the special cleanliness drives being conducted across the city, Punjab Housing and Urban Development Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian led the cleanliness drive in Dhandari Khurd area (ward number 25) on Monday.
The special cleanliness drive was organised under the banner of 'Clean Ludhiana, Green Ludhiana' campaign and was organised under the mega cleanliness drive launched across the city in the past. Special cleanliness drives are being conducted in every ward of the city to ensure environmental hygiene.
MC Joint Commissioner Vineet Kumar, CSI Ameer Singh Bajwa, SI Jatinderpal Singh among other officials and staffers were also present during the cleanliness drive.
Lauding the sanitation staff for their tireless efforts in keeping the city clean, Cabinet Minister Mundian distributed refreshments among the staffers and motivated them to continue their work with efficiency.
Cabinet Minister Mundian stated that the state government led by Chief Minister (CM) Bhagwant Singh Mann is committed to ensure sustainable development and pollution free environment for the residents. He appealed to the public to stop dumping waste at open sites/vacant plots and support the authorities in keeping the city clean and green.
Cabinet minister Mundian said that the cleanliness drives are being organised across the city and they have been taking stock of the situation at ground level. The officials have also been directed to move to the field on a regular basis and ensure cleanliness in every aspect.
