Rohtak, March 6, 2026: Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta said that the Class XII board examinations for History and Biology subjects conducted by the Haryana Board of School Education were held peacefully and transparently across the district with adequate administrative arrangements in place.

He said that the district administration had made comprehensive arrangements to ensure smooth and fair conduct of the examinations.

According to the Deputy Commissioner, 4,704 students appeared for the examinations out of 4,762 registered candidates, while 58 students remained absent.

Providing subject-wise details, he said that in the History examination, 3,749 students appeared out of 3,787 registered candidates, while 38 students remained absent. In the Biology examination, 955 students appeared out of 975 candidates, while 20 students were absent.

DC Sachin Gupta said that to ensure smooth and malpractice-free examinations, flying squads have been constituted and duty magistrates have been deployed at examination centers. The police department has also made adequate security arrangements at all centers.

A total of 45 examination centers have been established in the district for the conduct of board examinations.

The Deputy Commissioner said that the Class XII board examinations will continue till April 1, while the Class X board examinations will continue till March 20. The D.El.Ed examinations are also being conducted till March 20.

To monitor the examinations, a control room has been established at the office of the District Education Officer, which can be contacted at 01262-271871. Principal-level officers and staff have been deployed in the control room for continuous monitoring.
