CJPC 1st national online criminal quiz competition

Chandigarh: Criminal Justice Practicum Cell of University Institute of Legal Studies (UILS), Panjab University, Chandigarh organised the 1st Online Criminal Law Quiz Competition on July 26, 2020, under the  guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Rajinder Kaur, Director, UILS, Panjab University, Chandigarh, and Dr. Anju Chaudhary, Event Organiser and Faculty Incharge, CJPC- UILS, Panjab University, Chandigarh. 
Total 332 participants registered for the quiz competition. The quiz consisted of questions from IPC, CrPC, IEA, POCSO Act, Penology, and Victimology. In total 60 questions were there to be attempted in 30 minutes whole accounting for 160 marks.
The registrations were from premier institutions of the country including NLU-D; BHU-Varanasi; NLU-Jodhpur; St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata; UPES-Dehradun; Amity University-Noida; University of Bombay; University of Delhi; NLU-Patna; etc.
Sagar Agrawal from Jagran Lakecity University, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh secured the first position and won a cash prize of Rs. 1100; Aanish Aggarwal from West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata, West Bengal secured the second position and won a cash prize of Rs. 750; Shublee Ashraf Khan from Central University of Punjab, Bhatinda, Punjab secured the third position and won a cash prize of Rs. 500.
