City’s young veterinarian-turned entrepreneur Dr. Sulbha Jindal in fray for post of Sports Secretary of Sutlej Club 

Ludhiana, December 17, 2022: City’s young veterinarian-turned entrepreneur Dr. Sulbha Jindal is in the fray for the post of sports secretary of the Sutlej Club, Ludhiana. 

The elections are scheduled to be held on December 24.

She is the daughter of Bharti Bhushan Jindal, a renowned industrialist of Ludhiana. Her mother Manju Jindal comes from one of the most respected business families of Ludhiana. Her maternal uncle (Mamaji), Late Shri Pran Arora, was a well-known name in the business circles of the city and the Sutlej Club fraternity. 

Dr. Sulbha said she feels proud that her maternal uncle Late Pran Arora held several posts such as general secretary and vice president in the Sutlej Club, adding that his late maternal uncle is widely acclaimed for his role in the development of the club through its initial years. “I wish to follow footsteps of my late maternal uncle and serve the Club and the society as well”, she remarked. 

Interestingly, Dr. Sulbha is also admirer of her first cousin, Sanjeev Arora, MP (Rajya Sabha). “His role in the development of local industry and also of the Sutlej Club as a General Secretary is applauded by everyone”, she said enthusiastically.

Dr. Sulbha said, “I have grown up seeing my family serve the community and that is the core value deeply entrenched in my heart and soul.” 

She said contesting for the post of sports secretary of the Sutlej Club is a challenge for me. “Only a sportsperson can know the challenges and being one, I believe I can bring in the change for a better future”, she strongly believes. 

Dr. Sulbha has already started her election campaign. She is hopeful that she will be able to achieve success with the support of her elders, mentors, well-wishers, and respectable members of the Club.
