CITY ARCHITECT GETS RECOGNITION IN NATCON

Ludhiana, December 12, 2017: Ludhiana City's leading architect Sanjay Goel who is chairman of IIA Punjab Chapter as well Director of Ludhiana Smart City Limited was honored by IIA during 34th Annual National Convention of Indian Institute of Architects held at Mayfair, Bhubaneswar-Odisha. Goel was honored due to his continuous valuable services to the community including he is the only nominated director in SPV of any smart city in India.
NATCON is the largest annual convention of the Architects in India organized by the Indian Institute of Architects. This year NATCON was hosted by IIA - Odisha Chapter in the Capital/ Temple city of Bhubaneswar - a perfect place where Indian architecture has flourished since time immemorial.
NATCON was attended by city leaders, more than 1,000 leading architects, urban planners and experts from India, SAARC region and overseas.
The guest list also include Padma Vibhushan Architect & Sculptor- Shilpi Guru Dr Raghunath Mohapatra and Padma Bhushan Ar. Hafeez Contractor.
IIA Amritsar Sub Centre has won award for maximum IIA membership enrollments among all IIA Sub-Centres in India. Ar Anmol Pupneja, Ar Hemant Bhandari, Ar Aman Makol from Chapter has won certificate of merit from IIA for their very good work done in past one year
