Jalandhar, April 24, 2014: Second day of Inter Cambridge sports meet started with lots of heat. In a nail biting match of volley ball, Cambridge International School for girls snatched the final match from CIS Phagwara by 3-2.

Events which took place today were Volley ball, basket ball, yoga and Athletics. Winners of Yoga U-14 boys were from CIS Phagwara, CIS co-ed and CIS Nawanshahar and U-14 girls were from CIS girls, CIS Phagwara and CIS co-ed. These schools stood first, second and third respectively.

Winners of girls U-12 200mts, at first and third was CIS girls and second was CIS co-ed. Boys U-12  200mtsfirst and third is CIS co-ed and CIS Phagwara bagged third position. Girls U-14 800mts, CIS girls bagged first, second was CIS Phagwara and CIS co-ed stood third. In boys U-14 800 mts CIS Phagwara stood first and third where as on second was CIS co-ed.

In girls U-18 200mts first, second were CIS girls and third was, CIS Phagwara.  Boys U-18 200 mts CIS co-ed stood first and third where as on second was CIS foundation school.

Girls U-18 800 mts, first and second stood CIS girls and third was CIS Phagwara. Boys U-14 400mts first and second is CIS co-ed third was Phagwara.

In girls U-14 400 mts CIS girls was first and second and third was CIS Phagwara. Boys U-18 1500 mts CIS Phagwara was first and second and on third was CIS co-ed.

In relay race boys U-12 400 mts first was CIS co-ed, second was CIS Phagwara and third was CIS Kapurthala. In relay race girls U-12 400mts first was CIS girls, second was Nawanshahar and at third position was CIS Phagwara.

In relay race boys U-14 400mts first was CIS co-ed, second was CIS Phagwara and third was CIS Nawanshahar. In relay race girls U-14 400mts first was CIS girls, second was Co-ed and at third position was CIS Phagwara.

In relay race boys U-18 800mts first was CIS co-ed, second was CIS Foundation and third was CIS Phagwara. In relay race girls U-18 800mts first was CIS girls, second was Phagwara third was CIS Co-ed.

In relay race boys U-18 400 mts first was CIS co-ed, second was CIS Foundation and third was CIS Phagwara. In relay race girls U-18 400 mts first was CIS girls, second was Phagwara and at third position was CIS co-ed school.

In long jump boys U-10 CIS co-ed was first, second stood was CIS Nawanshahar and at the third place was CIS Phagwara. In long jump girls U-10 CIS girls was first, second was CIS co-ed and at the third place was CIS Nawanshahar.

In long jump boys U-12 CIS co-ed was first, second stood was CIS Phagwara and at the third place was CIS Nawanshahar. In long jump girls U-12 CIS Nawanshahar  was first, second was CIS co-ed and at the third place was CIS girls school.

In long jump boys U-14 CIS co-ed was at first and third place where as  second stood was CIS Phagwara. In long jump girls U-14 CIS girls was first and second and at the third place was CIS co-ed school.

In long jump boys U-18 CIS co-ed was first, second stood was CIS Phagwara and at the third place was co-ed too. In long jump girls U-18 CIS girls stood first and second  and third was CIS Phagwara school.

To cheer the contestants in all the different events  Director Academics Ms. Deepa Dogra, Vice Principal Preeti Sharma and all the coordinators marked their presence. Enthusiasm of the students were out of the world but the heat is still on.
