CII organised Interactive Session in collaboration with Department of Industry and Commerce and Invest Punjab 

Ludhiana, November 7, 2023: CII Ludhiana Zone Organised Interactive Session In Collaboration With Department of Industry & Commerce for their members at Avon Cycles Ltd, premises today wherein 40 plus CII members attended the same. 

In the opening remarks, Rishi Pahwa, Chairman, CII, Ludhiana Zone and JMD Avon Cycles Limited welcomed the Chief Guest of the session Vishav Bandhu, Jt. Director, Department of Industries. 

Pahwa shared that the Punjab Industrial and Business Development Policy 2022 aims to facilitate manufacturing & services sector by creating an investor-friendly environment in Punjab. Invest and Punjab Business First portal is providing all regulatory services and fiscal incentives to the businesses through one common integrated platform. Government of Punjab also provide a variety of fiscal and non-fiscal incentives to support the growth of existing industries and to attract new investments, Mr. Pahwa added.

Chief Guest of the event Vishav Bandhu, Jt. Director, Department of Industries shared that Punjab Government is trying to take every step to support the industry. He gave brief presentation on various fiscal incentives provided by the Department of Industries & Commerce. Queries were well answered during the session. He also ensured that Department of Industry and Commerce will resolve all the issues raised by the CII members.  

It was a fruitful session for one and all that concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Lokesh Jain, Vice Chairman, CII Ludhiana and also presents a token of gratitude to the guest speaker.
