CII ludhiana zone in association with in gulzar group of institutions organised free health check- up camp

Ludhiana, April 8, 2023: GGI has always been a front runner in providing a helping hand to any public initiative and community service. Continuing this tradition, Department of Allied Health Sciences organized a free health check-up camp in association Confederation of Indian Industry and with Indus Hospital at the institute premises.

The camp was inaugurated by worthy Executive Director of the Institute Er. Gurkirat Singh. The camp included free medical consultation, Dental screening, Psychiatric consultation and nutrition advice. The assessment included ECG monitoring, blood sugar measurement, BP measurement, Body Mass Index (BMI), oxygen saturation, Flexibility testing. In addition to it, BMD was also checked.

The main objective of the camp was to bring affordable healthcare and give health information to the community to identify the common health problems of the community in order to create ways of addressing them. Over 400 people benefited from this camp.

The team of professionals included Dr. Harsh Bhadwaj (Internal Medicine), Dr. Tanujveer Singh Chandok (Psychiatrist) and Dr. Anchal Sharma (Dentist) along with Student Volunteers from Allied Sciences department of the institute, Nurses and ECG technicians.

CII mentored the endeavor and was represented by Randeep Bhogal, Convenor, CII Ludhiana Zone, Bhogal Sales Corporation, Dr. Deepak Jain, AVP-Corporate Office, Avon Cycles Limited, Geetanjali, Chief Compliance Co-Ordinator, Versatile Enterprises Pvt Ltd , and Rakesh, Proprietor, Lakshya Financial Management. 

Rishi Pahwa, Chairman CII Ludhiana Zone and Jt. Managing Director Avon Cycles Limited, Lokesh Jain, Vice Chairman CII Ludhiana Zone and Partner T K Steels said that CII will take more such initiatives along with other CII members under CSR and also appreciate the efforts of Gurkirat Singh & his team for organizing this event at his premises to start with.
