CII-IWN Organises Hands-on AI Workshop for Women Entrepreneurs and Professionals

Chandigarh, August 9, 2026: CII-IWN (Confederation of Indian Industry–Indian Women Network) organised a highly useful and interactive hands-on AI workshop for women entrepreneurs and professionals. The session was conducted by Prof. Rocky Jagatiani. The workshop aimed not merely to help participants understand AI, but to equip them with practical skills to use it to solve real-world business challenges.
Speaking on the occasion, Sakshi Katyal, Chairperson, CII-IWN Chandigarh, Tricity Chapter, said that AI is no longer just an emerging technology but has the potential to transform the way people work. For women entrepreneurs and professionals in particular, AI can be an effective tool to simplify tasks, save time and achieve better outcomes. She said that such practical workshops help women not only understand AI but also use it confidently in their professional and business activities.
CII-IWN Co-Chairperson Dr. Lipi Pathak was also present at the workshop along with Sakshi Katyal.
Prof. Rocky Jagatiani provided insights into the rapidly evolving world of Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, Agentic AI and Large Language Models (LLMs), with a special focus on the practical business applications of AI.
During the workshop, participants explored how AI can be used for a wide range of tasks, including marketing, content creation, research, presentations, coding, data analysis and automation. The session also discussed ways to use AI as a practical productivity partner in day-to-day professional work.
A key highlight of the workshop was its hands-on and use-case-driven approach. Participants brought their actual business data, documents and work-related challenges to the session. These included sales and financial reports, contracts, marketing data, presentations and research-related queries.
Through these real-world examples, participants gained practical insights into how AI can simplify processes, improve efficiency and enhance the quality of their work.
CII-IWN believes that when knowledge is shared, women do not merely learn; they also empower one another to move forward, embrace new ideas and take on leadership roles.
