Chandigarh, June 15, 2023: The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Chandigarh organised a thought-provoking session on mastering leadership, focusing on strategies for success in the modern world. The session, held at CII Northern Region Headquarters, brought together esteemed industry leaders, professionals, and aspiring individuals seeking to enhance their leadership skills.

Vivek Gupta, Chairman of CII Chandigarh UT, inaugurated the session, highlighting the importance of effective leadership in the ever-changing landscape of the modern world. He emphasized the need for continuous learning and growth in leadership roles to stay ahead in today's dynamic business environment.
 

“The CEO’s Dialogue series, which is part of the CII membership engagement strategy to communicate with members & leadership aims at creating the space for dialogue that is necessary to develop transformative initiatives. The activity will provide an interactive opportunity for the members to learn more about the businesses and life philosophies of prominent leaders,” said Vivek Gupta while asking all the delegates to fully engage in the session.
 

The keynote address was delivered by Dr Sanjeev Chopra, a renowned author, and visionary. Dr Chopra's address centered around his notable work, 'We, the People of the States of Bharat,' which provides a captivating account of political movements, regional aspirations, and the importance of dialogue, wise counsel, and statesmanship in achieving success. ‘We The People’ is a treasure trove of little-known facts and a subtle blend of history and geography. His prior roles as the Former Director of LBSNAA and the Former Additional Chief Secretary, Government of West Bengal, India further reinforce his credibility as a thought leader.
 

Dr Sanjeev Chopra highlighted the history of post-Independence India from an entirely different and novel angle i.e., the cartographic lines that shaped the units which comprise the states of modern India. The session was expertly moderated by Ms Nagina Bains, Chairwoman, IWN Chandigarh Tricity Chapter. Ms Bains skilfully guided the discussion, facilitating meaningful interactions and insights from the participants. Her expertise in leadership development and commitment to empowering individuals in the professional realm added immense value to the session.
