CIE Incubator at IIIT Hyderabad opens Applications for Entrepreneur-in-Residence Program

Hyderabad, December 18, 2018: CIE (Centre of Innovation and Entrepreneurship) of IIIT Hyderabad opened Applications for its Entrepreneur-In-Residence (EIR) Program.

The program is supported by, NIDHI-EIR Scheme of Department of Science and Technology (DST) . National Initiative for Developing and Harnessing Innovations (NIDHI) is an umbrella programme for nurturing ideas and innovations (knowledge-based and technology-driven) into successful startups.NIDHI-EIR Scheme of DST, enables entrepreneurs to leverage research output from IIIT – H’s labs leading to deep tech startups with social or commercial applications.

The selected EIR would be given a stipend up to a sum of Rs 30,000 per month for about 12 months. Selected EIR will also receive access to mentors and investors.

The EIR is open to full –time founders working on deep tech ideas.

Application deadline is 10 January 2019.
