CICU-Women Entrepreneur Forum made efforts for a Micro- Forest

Ludhiana, August 6, 2023: Today, CICU-WEF Under the expertise of Ecosikh holds a plantation drive of Microforest (Miyawaki technique) at Govt college for girls Rakh bagh, Ludhiana. The initiative was taken care of under CSR activities by Vimmi Bajaj (Bajajsons Ltd).

Upkar Singh Ahuja, President, CICU shared that CICU-WEF members are very active in doing such activities to save the environment by creating a micro forest will help to improve the quality of air and carbon footprint.
 
Gurpreet Singh Gogi, MLA Ludhiana inaugurated the Micro-forest by planting some plants and shared that CICU-WEF members are doing commendable activities to protect the environment. This will definably help to create awareness amongst the students as well as for the society.
 
Vimmi Bajaj (Bajajsons Ltd) & Ms. Dicky Chhabra Convenor-WEF Core Committee congratulate the WEF-team for successfully creating a Micro- Forest and this project on promoting a green environment was a huge success. They also shared that these kinds of activities will create awareness about sustainable practices for planting trees and will positively impact on the environment.

They also thanked Gurpreet Singh Gogi, MLA Ludhiana for sparing their time to inaugurate this Micro- Forest.

The CICU-WEF-Members Rajni Sethi, Archana Sarup, Sania Gupta, Leeza Bhardwaj, Swaran Dhiman and other members were present.
