Ludhiana, August 15, 2026: The VJJS X Paragon Independence Cup 2026, supported by the Chamber of Industrial & Commercial Undertakings (CICU), was inaugurated with great enthusiasm at Paragon Waterfront, Ludhiana.
The championship was inaugurated by Himanshu Jain, Deputy Commissioner, Ludhiana and Ojasvi Alankar, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Ludhiana, who graced the occasion and encouraged the participants and organisers for promoting sports, fitness and community engagement in the city.
The presence of the senior administrative officials added significance to the occasion and reflected the importance of promoting sporting activities and healthy lifestyles in Ludhiana.
Representing CICU, Honey Sethi, General Secretary, CICU, and J.S. Bhogal, Senior Vice President, CICU, were also prominently present on the occasion and extended their support to the championship.
CICU appreciated the efforts of the organisers in bringing a professional pickleball championship to Ludhiana and creating a platform where players, families, entrepreneurs and members of the community can come together through sports.
