CICU Signs MoU with GGNIMT

Ludhiana, October 31, 2018: Chamber of Industrial & Commercial Undertakings (CICU) has entered into Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Gujranwala Guru Nanak Institute of Management and Technology, GGNIMT, Ludhiana in arranging training program of students, live projects from industries to be executed by students, arranging Industrial visit for faculties & students and arrange for placement of students in industry.

The MoU was signed by Mr. Pankaj Sharma, General Secretary, CICU and Mr. Gursharan Singh Narula, Chairman Council of GGN, Group of Institutes, during 2 days International conference being held at GGNIMT.

As per the Agreement CICU will provide assistance to the Institute in Training the students as per the need of the Industry.

Mr Pankaj Sharma Gen Sec CICU emphasized that there is a big gap between the requirement of the Industry and the training provided to the students and he assured that CICU will also try to bridge this gap.

He also said that on one hand Industry is in need of qualified manpower and on the other hand lot of students are unemployed which means that we need to do some introspection.

Mr Ajit Lakra and Mr HS Pahwa also gave Tips to budding Entrepreneurs and also shared their experiences of Industry.
