CICU raises the issue of late running trains

Ludhiana, October 21, 2017: Sh.Upkar Singh, Officiating President, Chamber in a Statement said that Industrialists are facing problems due to the late running of Trains. He said that the Shatabdi Trains Shri Amritsar, New Delhi Shatabdi at 7.00am in the Morning and 7.00 pm in the Evening for New Delhi. The Shatabdi Train from New Delhi to Shri Amritsar starts from New Delhi at 7.00am and other at 4.30pm. Both these trains are running late by 3 to 4 Hours daily. It has caused the inconvenience to the Industrialist and Business Man who normally go by morning train and come by the evening train. He further said that the trains which start at 7.00pm in the evening and its scheduled arrival time is 11.00pm also disturbing the industrialists or passengers who have to catch their flights from the International Airport, New Delhi.

In his Representation to Sh.Piyush Goyal, Minister of Indian Railway and Senior Officers of the Northern Railway to look into the matter and solve the issue of regular late running of prestigious Shatabdi Trains.
