CICU plan to establish Africa Desk to boost export from Punjab

Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertakings (CICU) Member met African Delegation consist of Monyadiwa Masilo, Botswana, Rabiatou Arzika Mamadou, Niger, Dr Fetchima Daddy Goah, Niger, Boureima Amadou Wankoye, 1er Vice President, Chamber De Commerce ET D’Industrie DU Niger, Deborah Asabe Ashigye, Deputy Director, Raw Materials Research and Development Council, Nigeria, Chinenye Anthonia Eneh, Nigeria and Dr Kemji  Benaiah Ajoku, Nigeria.

CICU plan to establish Africa Desk to boost export from Punjab

Ludhiana, January 22, 2024: Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertakings (CICU) Member met African Delegation consist of Monyadiwa Masilo, Botswana, Rabiatou Arzika Mamadou, Niger, Dr Fetchima Daddy Goah, Niger, Boureima Amadou Wankoye, 1er Vice President, Chamber De Commerce ET D’Industrie DU Niger, Deborah Asabe Ashigye, Deputy Director, Raw Materials Research and Development Council, Nigeria, Chinenye Anthonia Eneh, Nigeria and Dr Kemji  Benaiah Ajoku, Nigeria.
 
The purpose of the meeting was to strength ties with African Countries. African major portion of Export from Punjab is being made to Africa. The products being exported are Bicycle and spare Auto Parts, Tractor Parts, Food Products, Rice Agriculture Machines and Parts and Implements Tractors, Tyres and Tubes approx.. 700-800  “20 feet containers” with approx. value of 28 Million USD.

CICU endeavors to double these exports in next three years. African markets are low hanging fruits for exporters in Punjab. The markets are growing and India can get the advantage of competitiveness price.
