CICU Organizes Insightful Port Visit to ICD-Ludhiana for Export Training Program Participants

Ludhiana, May 26, 2025: The Chamber of Industrial & Commercial Undertakings (CICU) recently organized a highly informative and enriching port visit to the Inland Container Depot (ICD) at Pristine, Chawapayal – Ludhiana, as a vital component of its prestigious 10th batch of the "Export Training Program." This strategic initiative aims to empower budding entrepreneurs, start-ups, and established business owners with in-depth knowledge and practical skills essential for thriving in global markets.
The visit was led by  Vinod Kumar, Export Trainer at CICU, whose extensive expertise and hands-on guidance have been instrumental in shaping the careers of numerous exporters across the region. Mr. Kumar provided participants with a detailed understanding of real-time export operations, including container management, customs clearance processes, and the integration of modern logistics technologies that drive efficiency in international trade.
As part of the ongoing Export Training Program, participants are educated on key topics such as India's Foreign Trade Policy, export documentation, regulatory procedures, and industry best practices. The visit to ICD-Ludhiana served as a practical extension of the classroom training, offering direct exposure to the infrastructure and workflow that underpin successful export businesses.
