Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertakings (CICU) in association with SIDBI, NSIC & Kusum Tradex Pvt. Ltd. organised a growth session on Making MSME More Profitable. The program was intent to boost the growth of the Micro & Small Scale Industries of Ludhiana.

Ludhiana, September 10, 2022: Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertakings (CICU) in association with SIDBI, NSIC & Kusum Tradex Pvt. Ltd. organised a growth session on Making MSME More Profitable. The program was intent to boost the growth of the Micro & Small Scale Industries of Ludhiana. 

Upkar Singh Ahuja, President-CICU said that the main objective to organized this program to grow and upgrade the level of SMEs of Ludhiana. He also shared a presentation in which he highlighted the challenges of Micro & Small Industry like Growth, Profit, Sales & Marketing, Focus, Strategy, New product development etc. The SMEs should have vision and mission and it is most important to engage all employee.

He also shared that the owners should always look for improvement, better environment in their factory and 20% of recourses should be used to develop new products. New ideas, innovation & developments are defiantly helping the SMEs to achieve the next level. 

Ritesh Singh-AGM, SIDBI along with K.V Gopikrishna-DGM, SIDBI and Sandeep Maggu, Manager-SIDBI addressed the MSME industrialists through a presentation and shared the Schemes & facilities of SIDBI to MSME like Indirectly Finance to institutions, PLI, Cluster Development, Green Financing, Online facility of sanctioned the loan within seven days, After sale service portal, Expansions of loan facility.

They also mentioned that TATA Power recently tied-up with SIDBI to provide Solar Service on subsidized up to 3 Crores depend upon the load. 

S.B Singh, Joint Secretary, CICU also shared a presentation on Documentation -A Problem or A Need? The Micro & Small industry should work on documents to line-up their business. He described the documents needed for departments like Engineering Department, Sales & Marketing, Production Department, Store Department, Purchase Department, Maintenance Department, Tool Room Department, Quality Control Department, HR Department etc. 

Vishal Bhatnagar-Manager, NSIC shared that NSIC recently tied up with ACC cement to provide subsidized rates for construction of factories. NSIC also tied up with AM/NS India to facilitate the MSME in requirement of GP Sheets. He also shared some schemes of NSIC for MSME.

Munish Mehta, Director - Kusum Tradex Pvt. Ltd highlighted that services being offered to MSME like Low-cost Packaging Machinery, Material Handling, Housekeeping products. 

The program was attended by more than 150 industrialists some by namely Sh. Satinder Singh from Barnala Industry, Gautam Malhotra, VP-CICU, Jaspreet Singh from JP industries, Satinderjit Singh Autom, Harjit Singh from Awantika Auto Industries, Ajmer Singh Chahal from Chahal Electric Store, Amit Kumar from Amit collection, Avinash Sharma from Rider Bikes pvt ltd, Charanjit Singh from Manik Packers, Gurmail singh from Chhajju singh & sons, Harshdeep singh from Harshdeep industries, Jaswinder Singh from Laika Overseas, Kuljeet Singh from HMK Industries, Parminder Singh from Kharay Products India Regd, Yogesh khanna Advocate from Yogesh khanna & Associates  and other prominent members of CICU were present.
