Ludhiana, December 24, 2025: The Chamber of Industrial & Commercial Undertakings (CICU) successfully hosted a dedicated facilitation camp of the Punjab Small Industries & Export Corporation (PSIEC) at its premises, marking another strong step towards industry–government collaboration under the Punjab Government’s flagship initiative “Sarkar Tuhade Dwar.”
The camp was attended by two senior PSIEC officials from Chandigarh — Rajat Thaman, Senior Executive, and Kamal Preet Singh, Assistant Estate Officer, who interacted directly with industrialists and addressed their long-pending issues related to industrial plots, estate matters, documentation, transfers, and other PSIEC-related concerns.
Around 80 industrialists from Ludhiana and nearby industrial areas visited CICU during the camp and raised their individual queries. Owing to the proactive approach of PSIEC officials and coordinated efforts of CICU, nearly 50 cases were resolved on the spot, providing immediate relief and clarity to the industry members. The remaining cases were assured time-bound resolution.
Speaking on the occasion, CICU President Upkar Singh Ahuja strongly appreciated the Punjab Government’s initiative “Sarkar Tuhade Dwar”, stating that such on-ground camps bridge the gap between industry and administration.
“This initiative reflects the Punjab Government’s sincere intent to resolve industry issues at the grassroots level. CICU fully supports and appreciates the proactive role of PSIEC and the state government in creating an industry-friendly ecosystem. CICU remains committed to working closely with the government for the welfare and growth of industries across the region,” said Ahuja.
The camp witnessed the presence and active participation of several prominent industrialists, including Kamal Singh from Estman Industries Ltd., O. P. Bassi and Aman Bassi from Cos Heatreat, Happy from Vishvakarma Industries, Gurpreet Singh from Paramount Impex, H.S. Bedi from Sahiba Industry, Anil Chhabra from Arsh Industries, and Sunil Chaudhary from Swati Industries, among many others.
Industrialists lauded CICU for organizing the camp and appreciated PSIEC officials for their accessibility, patience, and prompt decision-making. The initiative was widely seen as a model for effective governance and industry facilitation. CICU reiterated its commitment to continue organizing such camps and engagements in future to ensure that the concerns of industries are addressed efficiently, thereby contributing to industrial growth, ease of doing business, and overall economic development of Punjab.
