CICU distributes covid protective face shields to industrial units at free of cost 

Ludhiana: Upkar Singh Ahuja, President and Pankaj Sharma, General Secretary, Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertakings (CICU) Ludhiana said that responding to the COVID-19 pandemic, CICU in association with GIZ MSME INNO, Centre Tool room Ludhiana distributed COVID protective shields to industrial units at free of cost. 
5000 face shield PPEs will be distributed to front line workers (medical staff, police personnel, sanitation and healthcare workers, private security, etc.). and in the industrial units.
While meeting with senior members of CICU at Gill road they discussed about various challenges and solutions along with various effective steps for SMEs. The shortage of labour liquidity and demand from buyers’ mains issues, which needs financial support from various government department and banks etc.
After the meeting COVID protective face shields were distributed to the member industries. 
The meeting was attended by Satinderjit Singh, Jaspreet Singh, Kuljeet Singh, Gurcharan Singh, Maninder Singh, Manjit Singh and Didarjit Singh Senior CFT Members.
