The meeting prioritized strategies to significantly increase bilateral trade and foster a dynamic exchange of new technologies. The 20-member CICU delegation, led by Vice President Didarjit Singh Lotey, engaged in a focused dialogue with Consul Bhupendra Nikhurpa. The core agenda was to identify actionable steps for Indian industries, particularly from Punjab's manufacturing sector, to integrate more deeply with the German market through enhanced business opportunities and technological collaboration.
Key discussion points included:
·         Enhancing Industrial Cooperation: The two parties explored frameworks for creating joint ventures and partnerships that leverage Germany's technological prowess and India's manufacturing capabilities. The goal is to facilitate a seamless transfer of advanced technology to modernize Indian industries and boost production quality.
·         Increasing Market Access: The dialogue addressed practical measures to simplify the entry of Indian manufactured goods into the competitive German market. Consul Nikhurpa affirmed the Consulate’s commitment to assisting Indian exporters in navigating trade regulations and connecting with German businesses.
