CICU and Labour Department jointly organised Seminar on Labour Welfare Schemes

Ludhiana, August 26, 2023: CICU in association with Labour Department organised a Joint Seminar on Labour Welfare Schemes by Assistant Labour Commissioner S.S Sidhu and Gurpreet Singh (L.C.O) along with Labour Inspectors namely Neha, Gurpinder Kaur, Vinod, Ramandeep Singh. The event was attended by 50+ HR Personnels.
 
S.S Sidhu addressed the Human Resource persons from various industries regarding HR practices and other Labour Welfare schemes. He represents the Schemes Presentation and replied the queries of the HR persons regarding their schemes & how to avail them for worker’s benefit.
 
Some few important benefits are explained for the employees and their family members were as under: 
•    Employees can take benefit of Rs. 31000 at the time of marriage of their children in form of Shagun.
•    Reimbursement of Medical bills upto Rs. 1,00,000 for chronical diseases in a year.
•    Ex Gracia benefit of Rs. 1,50,000 in case of Natural death and Rs. 2,00,000 in case of accidental death can be claimed.
•    Funeral expenses of Rs. 20,000 can be claimed.
•    Rs. 2000 for even for the Travelling to their Native Places once in a 3 years.
•    Employee can also avail some benefits for their Rs. 800 for Spectacles, Rs. 6000 for Hearing Aid, Rs. 5000 Dental treatment in a year.
