Christmas celebrations started at CT Group of Institutions with a festive spirit

Jalandhar, December 21, 2015: CT Group of Institutions celebrated Christmas with fun and fervour at both of its Maqsudan and Shahpur Campuses. Both the campuses wore a festive look. It was festooned with colourful streamers and balloons and a brightly decorated Christmas tree. The celebrations began with a cake cutting ceremony. This was followed by singing of Christmas carols by the staff and faculty members during the celebrations. Students were in a festive mood and danced to the numbers like "We wish you a Merry Christmas" and “Jingle Bells”.
Non-Teaching staff took the initiative to make a surprise visit of 'Santa Claus' at the event. Santa Claus enjoyed the festive spirit, took photographs with them, distributed candies and gifts to all. Students looked joyful dressed in their party attires. Some students also dressed as 'Santa Claus', while some of the others donned the role of elves.
At Maqsudan campus, the festival was celebrated by the CT Kindergarten students. The programme was followed by a dance and Christmas carols. Students said that Christmas festival truly depicts the essence of love, joy and peace. Mrs. Ranjana Rajput (Principal, CT Public School) informed the students about the birth of Jesus Christ and motivated the students to spread the message of Jesus Christ, “Love each and every person” in their life.
S. Charanjit Singh Channi (Chairman, CT Group of Institutions), Mrs. Parminder Kaur Channi (Co-Chairperson, CT Group of Institutions) and Mr. Manbir Singh (Managing Director, CT Group of Institutions) celebrated the event with the students and the members of the staff. They made their presence felt during the celebrations at both the campuses. S. Charanjit Singh Channi (Chairman, CT Group of Institutions) while addressing the students urged them to follow the path of love and affection which is the essence of every religion of the world.
