Mumbai (Anil Bedag): When spiritual consciousness, cultural grandeur, and visionary leadership converge on a single platform, an event transcends being a mere programme and becomes a moment of history. Such an inspiring moment unfolded at the three-day grand spiritual and cultural conclave ‘Rishabhayan 02’, held at the Korra Centre, Borivali West, where Maharashtra’s Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis graced the inauguration ceremony and added immense dignity to the occasion.
Dedicated to Lord Rishabhdev—the progenitor of humanity and a pioneer of Indian civilisation—the event witnessed the release of the Rishabhayan book by the Chief Minister. Addressing the gathering, Shri Fadnavis remarked that the book is not merely a religious text, but a timeless guide offering eternal values that are deeply relevant to modern society. He emphasised that Rishabhayan beautifully presents the philosophy of Lord Rishabhdev through the rich mediums of art, literature, and culture.
The programme commenced with the auspicious blessings of Jain Gachchhadhipati Pujya Yashovarmasuriji Maharaj. This was followed by the inauguration of the Dharma Parishad by Chief Minister Fadnavis, where saints and spiritual leaders from diverse traditions shared profound insights into the life, philosophy, renunciation, and penance of King Rishabhdev. The presence of Jain, Vedic, Sikh, and other religious leaders reflected India’s enduring tradition of Sarva Dharma Sambhava.
The spiritual resonance of the event was elevated by the presence of revered saints including Pujya Kothari Shri Dharmanand Swami Maharaj, Dandi Swami Jitendra Saraswati Maharaj, Mahant Dayalpuri Maharaj, Shantigiri Maharaj, Guru Mauli Dindori, among many others. Eminent spiritual leaders such as Acharya Nayan Padmasagar Maharaj, Acharya Lokesh Muniji Maharaj, Gyani Shri Ramsinghji Rathod, Swami Bharatanand Ji, Mahamandaleshwar Shri Rajendra Namgiri Ji, and saints from the Swaminarayan tradition further strengthened the spirit of interfaith harmony and dialogue.
Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis received blessings from the assembled saints and was accorded a warm and respectful felicitation by Jain Acharyas. The event was also attended by Maharashtra Cabinet Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha, local MLA Sanjay Upadhyay, Manisha Tai Chaudhary, Gopal Shetty, and several other distinguished dignitaries.
The grand vision of Rishabhayan 02 was brought to life through the dedicated efforts of Labdhi Vikram Janseva Trust, under the leadership of Managing Trustee Kiritbhai Doshi, along with Pravinbhai Jain and Krishna Rana. Significant contributions were also made by Mukeshbhai Jain of Multigraphics and social worker Sunil Lodha, whose support was widely appreciated.
One of the landmark highlights of the event was the historic release of 1,111 sacred texts, jointly undertaken by representatives of the Mumbai Jain Sangh Organisation and Jain associations from across the country. Additionally, a grand historical and religious exhibition organised by the Sarva Dharma Group was inaugurated by the Chief Minister, who lauded such initiatives for reconnecting the younger generation with India’s civilisational roots.
Held at Korra Centre Ground No. 4, Borivali West, the three-day event continues to draw spiritual leaders, national figures, and devotees, further amplifying its spiritual and cultural impact. The programme was gracefully conducted by Punya Shravika Sejal Ben, whose dignified and devotional anchoring added an emotional rhythm to the entire ceremony.
‘Rishabhayan 02’ stands not merely as an event, but as a living bridge—uniting ancient wisdom with contemporary consciousness.
