Chandigarh, Chetan Joshi's flute and Vidya Shah’s singing won everyone’s heart.

The program started on Wednesday. Renowned Kathak dancer Sadanand Biswas and Bharatanatyam dancer Shantanu Chakraborty were the main attractions on the first day of the two-day event.

Renowned flute player Chetan Joshi and classical singer Vidya Shah entertained the music lovers of Chandigarh on the second day of the programme. In this regard, the Furqan Khan Director NZCC said that the purpose of the program is to promote classical learning.

The highlight of the program was Pandit Chetan Joshi, an internationally renowned flute player who was recently awarded Central Sangeet Natak Akademi Award. Talking to the audience at the beginning of his program, he said that flute is one of the oldest instruments in the world. On this occasion, he also discussed his old relations with Chandigarh. Pandit Joshi started his playing with Aalap, Jod and Jhala in Raga Bihagada. In today's performance, he also made a unique experiment of playing Ati Mandra Saptak, for which his name has also appeared in many dissertations. After a brief alap, he kept a gat in delayed metaphorical rhythm, which showed a wonderful combination of different types of rhymes. The restriction of fast rhythm was fixed in three beats. On the request of the audience, Pandit Chetan Joshi concluded his unforgettable program by reciting a tune.

The final performance of the festival was by classical music singer Vidya Shah. She mesmerized the audience with her singing.
