Mumbai, April 24, 2019: The master of scientific cooking, Chef Heston Blumenthal, made his way to India for the first time with Masters of Marriott last week. During his time here, chef curated exclusive meals for guests, revealed the secrets behind his distinguished multi-sensory culinary creations and shared insights on his acclaimed cooking techniques. Promoting consistent innovation in the F&B industry, the Masters of Marriott initiative celebrates not only Marriott International’s talented culinary experts but also renowned international chefs.

During his visit to the country, Chef Heston hosted a series of distinctive culinary experiences for Masters of Marriott in Mumbai and Delhi. At the dinner held on Saturday, 20 April 2019, at JW Marriott Sahar Mumbai and the subsequent dinner held at JW Marriott New Delhi Aerocity on Sunday, 21 April 2019, saw prominent influencers and industrialists present at the event. The guests in attendance got a chance to sample signature dishes from his restaurant in England, The Fat Duck, including Vegetarian Scotch Egg and Roasted Scallops. The menu curated by Heston also included his globally renowned dishes such as Cauliflower Risotto, Powdered Duck and Macerated Strawberries.

Commenting on his trip to India with Masters of Marriott, Chef Heston Blumenthal says “My visit to India with Masters of Marriott has been delightful; right from experiencing the local cuisines in Mumbai and Delhi, to curating a five-course meal with my signature dishes, it has been unforgettable. Indian food has been my go-to cuisine since I was young; I’m happy to have been able to taste some extraordinary dishes during my stay here. I most certainly look forward to visiting India again.”

After a successful collaboration Chef Heston Blumenthal for the third installment of Masters of Marriott, the brand will continue to host such exclusive experiences for its guests, including ticketed events, masterclasses and meet-and-greets with globally renowned culinary experts in the coming months.
