Charul Malik, aka, Rusa delighted to be part of show

&TV’s Happu Ki Ultan Paltan has a big surprise in store for its viewers with famous media personality Charul Malik making a grand entry in the show as glitzy and glamorous, Rusa – Commissioner Singh Ki Saali! But what remains a mystery for everyone is ‘kisse hoga Rusa ka rishta?’ So, the story goes that Resham Pal Singh (Kishore Bhanushali) is appointed as Rusa’s guardian to ensure she finds the right man and settles. With no close family, the commissioner includes Happu Singh’s (Yogesh Tripathi) and his paltan as his extended family, the ladki-wallahs. Obviously, who will say no to an all-expense-paid stay at a lavish hotel? However, Happu Ki Ultan Paltan always has a knack for inviting trouble wherever they go. What will be this trouble and how it will cause havoc in everyone’s life is bound to leave you splits. Charul Malik, aka, Rusa is delighted to be part of the show and says, “It was not as such a planned move. Everything worked out super-fast, leaving me with very little time to react. The next thing I knew was that I was travelling to Surat to shoot with the crew. The cast has been so welcoming, I feel like I have always been a part of their team. Both the character and track are quite entertaining, and I am sure the viewers will have a hearty laugh seeing the chaos her entry causes within the family.”

The paltan comprising of Daroga Happu Singh (Yogesh Tripathi), Dabang Rajesh (Kamna Pathak), Katori Amma (Himani Shivpuri) and Kate Singh (Ashna Kishore) is overexcited about welcoming Charul aka Rusa into their extended family. Talking about her entry and the fun track in-store, Yogesh Tripathi, aka Daroga Happu Singh, says, “We all have known Charul on the other side, but now she is on our side. It is a pleasant surprise for us, and we are excited to see her as Rusa. Her character is fun, glamourous and outgoing. Her charming personality will cause havoc in Happu and his paltan’s lives. It has been fun shooting outdoors, with strict protocols and measures. We have thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it – from the outdoor fun to indoor shoots and rehearsals, an out and out an exciting experience.”
Adding further, Kamna Pathak, aka, Dabangg Rajesh says, “We have all seen Charul’s work on-screen but to have her with us behind the screen is surreal. She always has been vivacious and outgoing. It did not take us time to mingle and make her part of our paltan. Her role in the show is of an open-minded and go-getter millennial. Her presence will make Rajesh insecure, and she will leave no stone unturned to keep Happu in check and watch out.”
Himani Shivpuri, aka, Katori Amma adds, “We love to see new additions in our big family. Charul’s entry will cause quite a stir and gives the family much-deserved outdoor fun. We are shooting in Surat, and it is a refreshing change for all of us. We are making the most of it. With Rusa coming into the picture, Happu and his family are looking for an appropriate groom for her, but will they be successful in finding one? It is something you will have to watch in the episode. There is a lot of entertainment, drama, and comedy in store.”
Ashna Kishore, aka, Kate Singh concludes, “I instantly connected with Charul, both on-screen as well as off-screen. We have a lot of commonalities. She is a fun-loving and outgoing person. As Rusa, she instantly forms a bond with Kate and finds a close aide in her. The same is the case offline. We connected beautifully well and had a ball of a time shooting together. Rusa’s entry will bring a twist in the plot making it an entertaining episode to watch.”
