Change in school timing in Kangra district from May 23

Dharamsala, May 20, 2022: Due to summer, there has been a change in the opening and closing timings of schools in Kangra district from May 23.
According to Deputy Commissioner Dr Nipun Jindal, from May 23, the opening time of schools has been fixed at 7:45 am, while the closing time in schools has been fixed at 1 pm daily so that children do not face any kind of inconvenience. 
DC has also asked all the sub-divisional officers including Deputy Director Primary and Higher Education to ensure compliance of these instructions.
Further, DC said that instructions have already been given through the Health Department to issue smooth advisories regarding measures to avoid incidents of heat strokes in all schools.
