Chandigarh: To celebrate the passion for environmental sustainability and better living for our future generations, State Bank of India is back with its 3rd edition of SBI Green Marathon. The bank’s annual flagship event is to be witnessed by Chandigarh on March 8, 2020. The bank is organizing a 5Km, 10Km and 21Km run at the Chandigarh Club from 5:00 AM onwards. Chandigarh residents who are interested in participating in the marathon can go for the on-the-spot registration on Saturday, March 7 at Expo centre - The Aroma hotel in Himalaya Marg.
SBI General Insurance is the health partner for SBI Green Marathon whereas SBI Life and SBI Mutual Funds are also significantly contributing to this zero waste event. /(March 5)
UPDATED ON MARCH 06, 2020: "In the larger public interest and as per advisories issued from Government bodies to curtail the spread of COVID-19 Novel Coronavirus disease due to mass gatherings, the #SBI Green Marathon scheduled for Chandigarh on 8th March, 2020, has been postponed."
