Chandigarh, October 1, 2013: Governor of Punjab and Administrator, U.T. Chandigarh Shivraj V Patil, today convened a meeting with the Senior Officers of Chandigarh Administration here today at Punjab Raj Bhawan.
The Administrator reviewed the alternative arrangements which will be made available to Commuters of Sector 17, Chandigarh during the period, while the Multi Level Parking will be constructed.
It was also discussed in the meeting to provide a sign Boards of areas/places of the City Beautiful in English, Hindi and Punjabi for the convenience of the residents of the city beautiful and the public visiting the city from the adjoining cities/states.
The Administrator has advised to Senior Officers to constitute a Committee for preparing a Master Plan regarding the Parking Place, Sign Boards and the Committee will have an idea/proposal from the citizens of the city beautiful for the same.
