Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Jhanjeri Campus organized Hackathon 2024

Mohali, March 5, 2024: Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Jhanjeri organized the CGC Jhajeri Hackathon at Chandigarh Engineering College, CGC Jhanjeri campus. 

As many as 650 registrations from more than fifty Universities and institutions including foreign countries, for Coding and Application Development event participated in the event. CGC President Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, Managing Director Arsh Dhaliwal, Campus Director Dr. Neeraj Sharma, Director-Academic, and Vice Principal of CCE graced the event with their motivational words, inspiring participants to push their boundaries and strive for excellence.

In the final rounds 12 teams participated and gave their presentations, this presentation was judged by senior technocrats from different IT Industries. Finally, Team Wave Sync from Swami Vivekananda Institute of Technology was awarded by Gold Medal, certificates, a trophy, and cash prizes of Rs. 10,000. While first & second runner-up positions were captured by Code Catalyst and Team Achievers from CEC Jhanjeri with Silver & Bronze Medals, certificates, trophies, and cash prizes of Rs. 5,000 & 3,000 Cash prize.

The winning teams were also awarded with certificates and the rest of the teams were awarded with participation certificates by M D Arsh Dhaliwal & Campus Director Dr. Neeraj Sharma.

Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President of CGC said that at CGC Jhanjeri we encourage new and innovative ideas and promote innovative thinking and entrepreneurial mindset in young students such events will be organized in the forthcoming too.
