This afternoon, Market Committee Chairman Gurjit Singh Gill, Secretary Harinder Singh Gill, and their team reached the spot and reviewed the situation.

Ludhiana, November 15, 2025: A fire broke out yesterday at the fruit market located on Bahadurke Road, causing losses worth lakhs of rupees to the commission agents’ crates and other equipment. This afternoon, Market Committee Chairman Gurjit Singh Gill, Secretary Harinder Singh Gill, and their team reached the spot and reviewed the situation.
On the occasion, Chairman Gill expressed grief over the losses suffered by the commission agents and advised them to keep only the required number of crates in the market. He further said that excess crates should be stored either in open designated areas or inside their shops. He also appealed to the commission agents to remain cautious so that such incidents do not happen again.
