The team from CGC Landran went through three evaluation rounds, mentoring sessions before being shortlisted to present in the Final prototype display round where they worked for 36 hours continuously, to develop the complete prototype of  the Nimble Witted Hide & Seek Game.

Speaking about his team’s achievement, Shubham said, “We are proud to have won this competition. We thank our college CGC Landran, ACIC-RISE, as well as our mentors for providing us the facilities and the guidance which helped us bring this innovative game idea into fruition. ‘Nimble Witted Hide & Seek Game’ was inspired by our visits to NGOs for disabled children. We observed that the children struggled to play simple games or do recreational activities which led us to think through and develop this game prototype.”

The competition was organised by the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell in association with AICTE, Ministry of Women and Child Development, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Ministry of MSME, Ministry of Textiles and Ministry of Information and technology. An inter-ministerial initiative, Toycathon 2022 aims to encourage Indian youth and entrepreneurs to innovate, create and actualize unique toys and games which would going forward help make India Self dependent in digital game markets and toy manufacturing.
