Among top 10 per cent engineering colleges in Punjab basis employability quotient of students
Winning yet another accolade Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC) Landran has made it to the list of top ten per cent technical education institutions from Punjab, in terms of employability quotient of its students. Leading Global job skills credentialing agency Aspiring Minds has awarded CGC Landran with National Employability Award 2019 on the basis of scores of CGC’s final year (2019 batch) students on AMCAT, India’s largest employability test. AMCAT is a computer adaptive test which measures job applicants on critical areas like communication skills, logical reasoning, quantitative skills and job specific domain skills thus helping recruiters identify the suitability of a candidate. 700+ companies including Accenture, Snapdeal, Axis Bank, Tata Motors, ITC etc, use it as a compulsory testing mechanism for entry level roles relying on AMCAT scores during hiring processes.
Acclaimed for its impeccable placement record, CGC Landran is one among the only two institutions from the state to have been awarded the honour. This year alone, CGC hosted more than 492 MNCs including Fortune 500 companies like Amazon, Microsoft, HP etc., and those from sectors including IT, Aviation, Banking, Retail, Hospitality & Tourism, Pharmaceutical & Biotechnology, Banking & Financial Management, among others during placement drives in-campus underlining the quality of recruitees being brought up at the institution.
