CGC Landran initiates 1-week Faculty Development Program

Chandigarh: In view of the present impact of the pandemic on the education sector, Chandigarh Business School of Administration of Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran kick-started a 1-week Faculty Development Program on ‘Innovative trends in Teaching Learning Process and Research Methods in accordance with Industry Requirements’.

The inaugural ceremony was performed under the guidance of the Management officials and witnessed the participation of 100+ faculty members from different departments of CGC.

International and national experts in the area of teaching-learning were invited to apprise the faculty members of the importance of the E-Learning Environment and how these digital modes are helping the education sector to cope with the present challenges. Among the experts, Prof. Beena Girdharan, Dean, Learning and Teaching from Curtin University, Malaysia was the keynote speaker, Prof. Srinivas Sridharan, Associate Professor from Monash Business School Australia and Dr. Arun Khosla, Dean Research, Dr. B R Ambedkar NIT Jalandhar were the Guests of Honor for the session.

The FDP will further acquaint the participants on topics including Stress Management, Time Management and Life Skills, Traits of an effective teacher, Experiential Learning through Management Games, Outcome Based Learning, Role of Motivation in Teaching Learning and a lot more, which will be undertaken by eminent speakers from the industry.
