CGC Landran hosts 16th Annual Athletic Meet

Chandigarh, March 11, 2022: The 16th Annual Athletic Meet at CGC Landran concluded with a spectacular show of sportsmanship and athletic skills. There was a true spirit of enthusiasm among the CGCians as this meet was conducted after a gap of two years owing to the pandemic restrictions. The 2-day event witnessed a myriad of sports events like Race, Long Jump, Javelin Throw, Relay Race, Lemon Race, Arm Wrestling, and more, wherein both the faculty and students participated actively.  
 
Day 1 of the event was graced by Ms. Niharika Singh, Secretary, Women’s Wing, Indian Body Building Federation as the Chief Guest, and Day 2 by Mr. Vikas Sabarwal, SP Patiala & former athlete.
 
BBA students Taniya and Anmol were adjudged the Best Athlete (Girl & Boy) respectively. Besides this, the top three positions were bestowed to the best performers in every sports event.
 
The winners were honored with medals and trophies during the prize distribution ceremony. The Chief Guest congratulated the winners and appreciated their efforts, encouraging them to make sports an integral part of their lives.
