Ludhiana, May 19, 2014: Avtar Singh CEO-LETS in a statement released today said that the progress of work of enhancement of common effluents treatment plant (CETP) was reviewed by him along with Charanjit Singh Vishivkarma, Secretary, Manmohan Singh Udhi, Director, Jagatveer Singh, Director-LETS.

The work which is going on in full swings will be completed by the Operator-JBR Technologies Pvt. Ltd. by June 30 this year. M/s JBR Technologies Pvt Ltd the operator of CETP is to make entire investment for up-gradation of plant and increasing the capacity of CETP.

Due progress of ongoing work will be apprised to the members during the Annual General Meeting of LETS to be held on May 20 at 11.30am in the Hall of United Cycle & Parts Manufacturing Association, Gill Road Ludhiana.

The existing capacity of CETP is being raised from 300 kl to 500 kl to cater to the needs of electroplating units of entire state of Punjab. International technology with latest techniques of European standards i.e. Thermostat and Evaporator are being installed first time in this plant. As such, this CETP will become No. 1 plant in India. This will facilitate up-gradation of MSME units for meeting out pollution related specifications. This enhanced capacity will cover all most entire Punjab especially industrial units functioning in the district of Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Amritsar, Bathinda, Mohali & Fathegarh Sahib.
