Jalandhar, March 14, 2019: Lyallpur Khalsa College has seen its brilliance in the field of Academic outcomes extend to the newly introduced Certificate Course in Urdu. In the very first examination of the inaugural Urdu Course, Amanpreet Kaur bagged first position in the University with an 97 % marks while Jasreen Kaur, Mandeep Kumar and Manmeet Sodhi attained 96% marks each on the joint second rank in the University.
College Principal Dr.Gurpinder Singh Samra congratulated the meritorious students along with Prof.Arinder Singh, In-charge, Certificate Course in Urdu on the immense success of the new course and hoped the students would continue to make such efforts in their forthcoming ventures. He also added that similar courses for French and other languages would also be introduced from the next academic session 2019-20. Also present on the occasion were Prof.Arinder Singh and Prof. Gopal Singh Buttar, Head, PG Department of Punjabi.
