Centra Premier League (CPL) Season-5 Players Auction Completed

Ludhiana, April 17, 2023: The Centra Premier League Season-5 player auction witnessed a total of 50 players sold in 25000 points spent by five teams. It was just like a thriller match in which the highest bid of 1800 points was made by Centra Super Giants for Simranjot Singh Sethi. 

In an interesting scenario Ex- Captain of Hazel King Parvesh Setia is purchased by Maple Riders and Ex- captain of Maple Riders (CPL-4 winner) Vibhanshu Bhasin is bought by Hazel kings in 1600 points each. Tejinder Singh Gandhi who was the star batsman of the last season is purchased by Centra Super Giants in just 900 points. 

It was just like a jackpot in the end when most of the teams were out of the points. Shubham Madaan, Ankur Kehar Gautam Batra & Dhruv were also amongst the high bid players. Amit Garg who was the man of the series in CPL-4 is purchased by Hazel Kings.

An evening (April 16) was perfectly set for the auction of the players at the front lawn of the luxurious township of Centra Greens for CPL season 5 in the gracious presence of Rajiv Bhalla, Amit Bhalla, Dr Tanveer Singh Bhutani and other distinguished guests &andresidents.

Dr. Bhutani who is the sponsor of the Maple Riders said that he is amased and very happy with the way this tournament is being organised. 

New eye-catching jerseys were also unveiled for the upcoming season of CPL.

It is the 5th season of the popular Centra Premier League (CPL-5) that will be played between six teams on 6th and 7th May 2023 at Centra Greens (An Abhey Oswal Township) situated at Pakhowal road, Ludhiana.
