Celebration of World Population Day at BCM School

Ludhiana, July 11, 2019: BCM School, Basant Avenue,Dugri, Ludhiana observed World Population Day today. Aristotle said, “To bring any change, we must train young minds.” With this aim, the students were sensitized regarding various population issues like family planning, gender equality, poverty, maternal health etc. They were also apprised of the fact that the resources are getting depleted at a rapid pace due to increase in the demand of growing population. Teachers also acquainted them with some solutions to combat with this serious issue. The students also expressed their deep concern for the healthy growth and safety of human race. The Principal Dr. Vandana Shahi, also emphasized on the need to curb the population so that our present as well as future generations can live happily on this planet earth.
