Jalandhar, April 25, 2019: World Book Day is a registered charity on a mission to give every child and young person a book of their own. It's also a celebration of authors, illustrators, books and most importantly it's a celebration of reading.
Ivy World School, Jalandhar under the aegis of I-League Education, organized G.K quiz, Circle reading, group reading on World reading day in school premises.
The children were asked to bring their favourite books to read in the class. The importance of reading was stressed by the Ivy educators to make them aware that reading improves concentration, vocabulary and develops language and writing skills. Reading also helps their imagination soar and relaxes and calms their minds. S.Chauhan (Principal) encouraged students to read more and to stay away from online games.
