Celebration of Independence Day and Janmashtami by Inner Wheel Club Jalandhar

Jalandhar, August 16, 2025: The Inner Wheel Club of Jalandhar marked Independence Day with the children of Chanan Vocational and Skill Training Centre for Special Children, where Club President Inderkiran Toor hoisted the National Flag. The students presented patriotic songs, dances, and shared their thoughts on independence. On this occasion, club members made on-the-spot donations to the centre for its various needs, served langar, and also donated an inverter to the school.
Later, Janmashtami was celebrated with the students of the Deaf and Dumb School. The children gave devotional dance performances, and beautifully decorated the temple and terrace with lights and balloons. Club members recited Krishna bhajans, while snacks and fruits were distributed among the students.
The day turned into a memorable celebration, where patriotism blended seamlessly with devotion and community spirit.
