Ludhiana, November 27, 2015: India is governed in terms of the Constitution of India, which was adopted by the Constituent Assembly on 26 November 1949 and came into force on 26 January 1950. The students of BCM Senior Secondary School honored Indian Democracy by celebrating 26 November 2015 as the Constitution Day.
During the morning assembly the school head Sh D.P.Guleria addressed the students briefly about the significance of celebrating the Constitution Day and lead the school in taking pledge by reciting the Preamble To The Constitution.
A poster-making competition to illustrate the messages contained on the Preamble to the Indian Constitution for all students of classes IX-XII was organized. The class teachers and the art teachers selected the best entries of the Poster Making Competition and the winners were given Awards of Appreciation.
